Wonderful experience
What a great journey!
Pick-up at 1am (Arya was already in the lobby at 1am waiting for me, first time in 3 month in SE Asia I have a pick up on time!). We picked up 2 ladies on the way and it was on for 2h drive in a very comfortable van with Arya being a very nice company, fun an instructive.
At 3ish in the morning, Kadek, a local guide met us at the bottom of the volcano, and the ascension could start. If you are not use to treks it’s HARD 🥵. But we finally made it to the top and enjoyed an AMAZING sunrise. The view is just breathtaking!
Then Kadek showed us the crater and some fun facts around the volcano and we headed back to the parking.
Kadek was a very very patient guide, who took all the time we needed to go up, helping us in the steepest parts. He speaks perfect English and was also a vert pleasant company all the way!
Wish them both all the best in their future and would recommend this tour 1000%
Holiday trip
Me and my best friend decided to take on this trip to explore some amazing nature. We got picked up by the most friendly driver (Arya). He was already in the lobby waiting for us. It took a little while driving to the hikepoint but in the meantime Arya told all about the hike.
At the starting point we met our lokal guide (Kadek). I have never met such a nice, patient and sweet guide. My friend was a little scared and he help her all the way up.
I will absolutly recommend this trip. It was really worth it. Really friendly people and amazing nature.
Amazing experience
Amazing experience. We were picked up very promptly by our lovely friendly driver. The hike was very enjoyable but harder than we expected – certainly got the blood flowing! Beautiful views. Coffee plant after was a fun experience and we got to try lots of different teas and coffees free of charge. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone coming to Bali.
Unique Experience
Must-Do if you are in Bali! Very unique and beatiful experience to observe the sunrise above the clouds. There are also Monkeys at the Top! 😉
Our driver Budi was very nice and picked us up at 2.30 am and then brought us to the starting point at the bottom of Mount Batur. There we met our Tour Guide Kadak. He helped us with the hike, which took 2 hours and served us our breakfast at the top. Very nice guy! After the beautiful sunrise we hiked down again for 2 hours. We were brought back again to the Hotel by our driver.
Totally recommend this tour, especially with this company!
One of a kind
The whole trip was amazing we booked this last night at 9pm and by 10pm they had accepted and were ready to pick us up at 2am. The view was absolutely amazing by far my favourite bit in Ubud. The staff was excellent and would help a lot in tough conditions and had excellent knowledge about the history. I would highly recommend to anyone in Ubud. A shoutout to our cab driver Abdi who worked on his day off but was nothing short of perfect, excellent young lad who made the service 10/10
Hike up Mount Batur with a gorgeuos sunrise view!
Our driver Budi arrived early at 1:15am to pick us up from the villa. We had a smooth ride and reached the base of Mount Batur at 3am.
The hike up Mount Batur was harder than I expected. It took us close to 2 hours. Thankfully our guide Nadi was very good at adjusting the pace with a few water stops to catch our breath and he’s always ready to give a helping hand whenever needed at the steeper points.
The sunrise view up there was simply gorgeous! You have to get up there to see it for yourself. Totally worth the hike up!
We could also have a good view of Mount Agung with some wispy smoke coming out of it. Good morning big brother Agung! Greetings from Batur 🙂
The way down was not as strenuous but no less challenging as you have to literally slide along at some points due to the slope, loose gravel and sand underneath your feet. I was going very slow as I didn’t wish to fall over and suffer any cuts. When Nadi noticed that I was having a hard time catching up with my teenage sons, he gave us another option to descend via an easier but longer route instead of going down via the same route. I gladly took it and it turned out to be a great choice! The path down was indeed easier and not steep at all. We were able to walk down and enjoy the lush greenery around us instead of always looking down at the path to lookout for loose gravel and sharp stones. My boys were also happy as they could literally race down with Nadi. And guess what, we reached the base at the same time as the other group that took the original route down 🙂

An amazing and adventurous experience
its really an amazing and adventurous experience when you start treck at 3.00 a.m. with the help of a local guide. Though, you feel some difficulty in treck after reaching the goal every body will feel happy in seeing the beautiful sunrise.
Mountain and Coffee!!!
We Departed from Kuta at 2 am to reach the start point to this mountain. It is beyond our prediction that climbing to this mountain is hard enough. We spent 2.5 hours to get to Puncak. But it paid off with a beautiful view of the summit of this mountain. Our guide also gave us the information we needed during the ascent. and give us enough time to stop because my wife is not strong enough to walk. The down time is a bit faster but we are advised to be more careful.
Upon returning to Kuta, we stopped at the coffe plantation, and were able to enjoy authentic Balinese coffee.
Amazing views on the peak
I got picked up from my hotel in seminyak at 1:20 and we were firstly taken to eat our first breakfast before the hike which was a delicious banana pancake with hot tea then we were taken to where we would start our hike, the first 30 mins of the hike was quite smooth however, later on it got very steep to the point we had to get on our hands to get up. It was quite exhausting although once we reached the peak to watch the sunset, it was amazing. The view was breath taking and was worth all the pain to get up there. This is definitely a must do in Bali! Our guide was very helpful and supported us when we were struggling to get up or down the steep hills.
Mount batur hiking
I would like to recommend mr . Khomo , a local traveling guide , he was guiding us to all way to batur , we were bit tired but mr khomo encouraging us to reach reach mountain. He has a very good knowledge about the mount batur , mr khomo prepared a nice breakfast , and we had breakfast at the top of the mountain at early morning , we had a life time experience over there , thanks mr khomo
